Omens

According to superstitious people, the universe is IM-ing you all the time-you just need to know how to read the signs. Here are a few "omens" from folklore...and what they supposedly mean.

• If you find a bird in your house, an important message will soon arrive.
• If you see an owl in the daylight, you're in for some bad luck.
• If a strange dog follows you, good luck will soon follow, too.
• If a dog howls three time, then it goes silent, someone just died.
• If you see a cat at a wedding, smile! it means good luck for the happy couple.
• If you see a white moth inside you house, beware: Death will visit soon.
• If your cat sneezes, grab your umbrella- it's going to rain.
• If you find a bee in the house, clean your rom. Avisitor is coming.
• If you see a spider run down its webin the afternoon, pack your bags. You're about to take a road trip.
• If you light a candle and it goes out, something wicked is lurking nearby.
• if your nose itches, expect guests. If it's the right nostril, look for a girl. The left? A boy.
• If you bite your tongue while eating, you recently told a lie. (That'll teach you!)
• If you trip going up the stairs, you'll be falling in love soon.
